  • Starting the conversation: what challenges do you face?

    Hello everyone,
We’ve noticed that many teachers express doubts around how and when to introduce topics of sexuality in the classroom. Some say they fear parental pushback, others don’t feel fully prepared, and others aren’t sure of age-appropriate approaches.

    Questions for you:
    – At what age do you begin addressing sexuality topics in your classes?
    – What strategies have you found helpful to introduce sensitive content in a respectful and inclusive way?
    – What support or training do you wish you had when you first started teaching this?
Let’s share our experiences and help each other grow. You’re not alone

In recent conversations, teachers have shared that they believe those topics are best addressed from early ages, so students develop healthy attitudes gradually over time.
Some say: “If we wait until adolescence, it’s too late; students already have misconceptions”.
    What do you think?
Do you agree that these conversations should begin in early education?
How early is “too early”? What topics have you introduced already, and how have students responded?
Let’s exchange ideas and materials for early years approaches.
